Broker Interview Checklist
Tenant advisory services come in all shapes and sizes. Time spent interviewing several firms at the front end will ensure selection of the firm best suited to helping achieve your specific leasing objectives.
A note on fees: Some real estate firms represent their services as "free to tenants." This is factually inaccurate. Tenant advisors are typically paid via a leasing commission from the landlord — however, these commissions are baked into the rental economics of the transaction. You are paying for the services. It's important to understand how much your advisor will earn, then evaluate them based on the services they provide in the context of that fee.
